Stir-Fried Kalio Vegetables emerges as a harmonious addition to Chinese New Year celebrations, blending vibrant colors and rich flavors to symbolize prosperity.

This versatile and practical dish reflects the unity of family gatherings, promising a delightful and auspicious start to the Year of the Dragon year.

What to Prepare?

2 cups mixed vegetables (cabbage, carrots or any other veggies of your choice)

2 tablespoons cooking oil

1 onion

2 cloves minced garlic

1 teaspoon ginger

1 pack 250g AYA Real Food Kalio

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

Steps of Preparation:

Step 1: Wash and chop the mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2: In a wok or large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat.
Step 3: Add the thinly sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the hot oil. Sauté until the onions become translucent and the mixture becomes fragrant.
Step 4: Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes or until they are slightly tender but still crisp.
Step 5: Add the Kalio paste to the vegetables, ensuring it coats them evenly. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Step 6: Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue to stir-fry until the vegetables are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
Step 7: If desired, garnish the stir-fried Kalio vegetables with fresh cilantro, green onions, or sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation.
Step 8: You’re done! Transfer the stir-fried Kalio vegetables to a serving dish and serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.
