KALIO TEMPE SATAY BROWN RICE IMPIT
1 pkt kalio sauce
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 packs tempe cut into cubes
150g brown rice washed
1 pack kalio sauce
1 tsp chili powder
150g ground roasted peanuts
3 stalks lemongrass
Gula melaka and salt to taste
- blend lemongrass with kalio sauce. Toss tempe cubes with turmeric and salt.
- skewer tempe cubes and grill over the stove or baked in 200c preheated oven until brown.
- for brown rice nasi impit, put washed rice into a heat proof food safe bag, seal tightly and poke some holes around the bag.
- boil till rice is cooked and compressed in the bag. Cool thoroughly and cut to serve.
