KALIO MUTTON SOUP WITH HAINAN TOAST
2kg mutton leg bone in, cut into cubes, blanched in hot water and rinsed
2 pack kalio paste
2” old ginger bruised
1 stick cinnamon
1 star anise
2 potatoes cut into large dice
2 carrots cut into large chunks
Salt to taste
Toasted hainan bread
Chopped daun sup
- put everything into a pot and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer until mutton is tender.
- season to taste and serve with toast and garnish with fried shallots and daun sup.
